Legislative Testimony

Read testimony on Election Day Registration by Vee Gordon to the Senate Government Operations Committee on February 8, 2007.

On March 15,2007 Vee Gordon testified before the Senate Government Operations Committe on Instant Runoff Voting. Read her testimony here.

S.108, a Senate bill calling for the use of Instant Runoff Voting for U.S. Senate and House candidates was passed by the legislature, and went to Gov. Douglas. The League has supported IRV through the legislative process, and in this letter we urge the Governor to sign the bill into law.
